It was Valentine's Day today.
I made macaroons and cigarette cookies for my friends as a gift.
In Japan, we give chocolates to our favorite boy on Valentine's Day.
But, I think that is also good to give something to convey thanks to friends.
The chocolate I got from my friends was very delicious.

Speech contest

We had a speech contest on February 6th.
In the contest, students from 1st grade to 3rd grade of junior high school made speeches in front of the audience.
They seemed to be nervous, but they did their best.
Lastly, Mr. Coombes made his speech about "My home country Australia".
He taught us a lot of things about Australia like how large is it, What was invented in Australia, the origin of Australia and so on.

We had a good time!!
